Book Description:A fun design and tasty treats give this gift book the irresistible Wow! Meow! factor
Seventy-eight million cats make themselves at home in the U.S. Following on the paws of the highly successful The Ultimate Dog Treat Cookbook (0-7645-9773-6), this book contains 50 delicious recipes that have earned a seal of approval from cats and veterinarians. Recipes feature easy-to-find ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions. Colorful illustrations add a fun feel, while sidebars offer tips on nutrition and cooking techniques. The Ultimate Cat Treat Cookbook is an ideal gift for any kitty lover.

THIS BELONGS IN COMMENTS NOT DESCRIPTION:I absolutely HATED this book. These are junk treats with junk ingredients, some of which call for mass-produced dry cat food as an ingredient. If I wanted to give my cats junk food, I would buy it rather than make it. I haven’t bothered to make any of the recipes in the book (I’m a professional chef and have no trouble telling a good recipe from a bad one) and will probably sell this at a garage sale. Also, most of the treats have to be refrigerated, which means they have limited shelf life (even at the proper temperature). If you only have one cat, you may have a hard time feeding kitty all the treats before their shelf life expires. In addition, some of the reviewers stated they liked the graphics, but I wasn’t all that impressed. Quite honestly, I prefer photos of the finished product to cartoon drawings of cats in my “cookbooks”. I also purchased the dog version of this book and didn’t like that one either. Read more
